SAN DIEGO – A 21-year-old man was identified Monday as the driver accused of going the wrong-way on a San Diego highway causing a collision killing two medical students.

California Highway Patrol said Jason King was charged with two counts of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and five counts of felony DUI causing injury or death.

Anne Li Baldock, 24, and 23-year-old Madison Elizabeth Cornwell – both students at UC San Diego School of Medicine – died on the Cabrillo (state Route 163) freeway in the University Heights area Saturday morning when the 2014 Toyota Prius they were in collided with a 2000 Ford F-350, authorities confirmed.

Three other UC San Diego medical students identified as Jared Molitoris, Yuki Iizuka and Stosh Ozogwere were in the Prius and suffered injuries, according to UC San Diego spokeswoman Dr. Heather Buschman. ….MORE
