Spartanburg County South Carolina Sheriff Chuck Wright reports:
Last night a Spartanburg County Sheriffs Deputy was involved in a serious vehicle accident on Highway 221 near S. Church St Ext. The Deputies vehicle was struck head-on by a suspected drunk driver, the suspect has been identified as Drako Nesbitt. The South Carolina Highway Patrol has charged Nesbitt with DUI, and several other charges. The Deputy suffered a light concussion, whiplash, and injuries from airbag deployment and is at home and resting. Nesbitt is currently in the Spartanburg County Sheriffs Office Detention Center awaiting bond.Drako Nesbit Spartanburg Co Detention Center DUI hit deputy
